This type of service includes the alterations of everyday wear, school uniform, work uniform, performance wear, workwear, activewear, sportswear, costumes, curtain shortening, and other small hand-sewing and repair works.

Typical jobs and price range:

Shorten standard pants/jeans hem ($15-$25).
Shorten standard daydresses hem ($20-$40/per layer).
Shorten plain shirt/t-shirt/singlet hem ($25-35).
Shorten shirt/t-shirt sleeves, plain ($15-$20).
Shorten shirt/t-shirt sleeves, cuffed ($30-$40).
Shorten Jacket sleeves with zip ($50-$70).
Take in side seams no zip, no lining ($20-$40).
Take in garment with 25cm zip, regardless of lining ($25-$40).
Take in garment with 60cm zip, regardless of lining ($30-$70).
Take up shoulders, no sleeves ($30-$45).
Take up shoulders, with sleeves ($45-$70).

Scheduling and turnover:

All fittings are by appointment only.
Our typical turnover time for this type of alteration is 7 days. Customers will be given a pickup date at the end of the fitting.
For rush situations, please call, and we will try to accommodate your schedule.
Once an appointment is booked, please refer to the confirmation email for the full session details (date, time, address).
Family and friends are welcome to attend fittings. Please call ahead for parties 3 or more.

At the time of your appointment:

Drop-offs are scheduled for 15minutes.
Shoes with proper heel height and undergarments (including but not limited to: petticoat/slip, bra, Spanx) must be brought to the first fitting and proceeding fittings.
Our typical turnover time is a week for this type of alteration.

Fee and charges:

A booking deposit is required upon appointment scheduling.
Customers will be given a flat fee for each requested service.
All payments are due at the first appointment.
We may offer to complete small jobs on the spot when possible (and if customers can wait). If this is the case, the customer will be charged an hourly rate of $96 (counting from the starting time of the appointment). There is no minimum time limit. (Your appointment is scheduled for 15 minutes, so your bill typically will not go over $48). This offer is not compulsory.

Pickup Procedures:

The customer will try on the altered garments, then approve and sign upon pickup.
If customers wish to try on the finished garment at home, there is a 5 days window to report any error regarding the service. The business will not be responsible for any complaints after the 5 days period.
Any garment not picked up 3months after the date of the pickup appointment will be discarded (this will only happen only as the last resort).
